The newly elected Assembly of the Transtibiscan Church District was constituted in Debrecen in form of a video conference on 30 January. Members confirmed the result of the elections and chose new officers.
The inaugural meeting of the new Synod and the election of the new Presidium of RCH will take place at the Károli Gáspár University of RCH, decided outgoing, continuing and incoming members of the Presidency Council.
The current Bishop of the Transdanubian (Western) Church District of RCH has been re-elected in the process of General Elections which take place every six years. József Steinbach will start his third term in office.

The Transtibiscan Church District (Debrecen) announced the results of the ongoing election. Prof. Dr. Károly Fekete has been reelected as Bishop. János Molnár continues to serve as Lay President of the District.
In the past months congregations of the four Church Districts of RCH elected Bishops and Lay Presidents. The new Synod will be constituted on 17th February 2021 and will elect the Ordained and Lay President of RCH. All the candidates at a glance.

The constituting meeting of the newly elected General Synod of the Reformed Church in Hungary elected Bishop Zoltán Balog as Ministerial President and Chief Elder János Molnár as Lay President of the Synod.
Rev. Zoltán Balog has been elected as Bishop of the Danubian Church District with headquarters in Budapest. The Bishop elect will take over office on 1th January 2021. Sándor Veres was re-elected as Lay President of the District.
