Discussion on Migration as Captured in Word Clouds

Learn more about the word clouds used at the recent consultation on migration to gain a greater understanding of the language and tone used in various texts when discussing migration and refugees.

This word cloud reflects the language used in official church statements, as highlighted in the final document from the ‘‘’For You Yourselves Were Foreigners’ -- The Refugee Issue as a Challenge to the European Partner Churches,” January gathering, hosted by the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland.

This word cloud reflects the language used in theological and biblical discussions of migration and the refugee crisis as covered in Rev. Dr. László Gonda’s presentation.

This word cloud reflects more nationalistic discourse on the subject as exemplified in an online Hungarian article from the “Alfahir” website.

This word cloud reflects informal discussions among people who assist refugees based on notes taken at the consultation on migration.
